Paste your API docs link. Get every endpoint, ready to test.

Check’d finds the API definition behind a published docs page and imports every endpoint, or reads the docs pages when there is no definition behind them. Then it writes the tests. Prefer files? OpenAPI, Swagger, Postman, Insomnia, GraphQL, HAR and cURL all work.

Docs-link import is on every plan, including Free.

Docs platforms Check’d understands

Each has its own way of hiding the definition. Check’d knows where to look on every one of these, and reads any other docs site page by page.

  • Swagger UI
  • Redoc
  • RapiDoc
  • Scalar
  • Stoplight
  • Postman published docs
  • Apidog
  • SwaggerHub
  • ReadMe
  • Mintlify
  • GitBook
  • Bump.sh
  • Zuplo
  • Docusaurus
  • Any other docs site

Product names belong to their owners. Check’d reads the public pages you link to; it is not affiliated with these platforms.

What happens when you paste a link

  1. Step 1: Opening the link

Check’d fetches the page, with the same address checks as every other request it makes.
  2. Step 2: Finding the definition

It recognises the docs platform and follows it to the OpenAPI, Swagger, Postman or GraphQL definition underneath.
  3. Step 3: Reading the pages

No definition? It renders the docs in a browser and reads the pages, using AI as the last step.
  4. Step 4: Review, then save

You see the format, the endpoint count, how many fit your plan and a sample, before anything is saved.

Start from what your team already keeps. Every format becomes the same endpoints and tests.

From endpoints to tests in one pass

After an import, Check’d explains what the API does in plain words, proposes a test plan and writes the suites, then runs them against the environment you pick.
  • Regression, contract, edge cases and security on every plan; performance, idempotency, pagination, rate limiting, fuzzing and more on paid plans.
  • Responses checked against the schemas in your spec.
  • Bearer tokens, API keys, basic auth or a login flow that fetches a token first.
  • Endpoints merge, history stays

Imports merge by method and path, so results stay linked to the endpoints you already test.
  • Import from CI

checked import openapi.yaml --yes keeps the project in step with your spec on every build.
    CLI import
  • Your own cases too

Write or edit cases by hand, or upload them from Excel on paid plans.

Questions people ask

Docs links, Swagger and Postman files, and keeping imports in step.

Ask support something else
Which docs sites can I paste?

Pages built with Swagger UI, Redoc, RapiDoc, Scalar, Stoplight, Postman published docs, Apidog, SwaggerHub, ReadMe, Mintlify, GitBook, Bump.sh, Zuplo, Docusaurus. For any other docs site, Check’d renders the page in a browser, reads the docs pages, and uses AI as the last step to write down the endpoints it finds.

How do I turn a Swagger file into tests?

Paste the Swagger UI link, the link to the swagger.json or openapi.yaml file, or upload the file. Check’d imports every endpoint, explains what the API does, proposes a test plan and writes the suites: regression, contract, edge cases and security first.

Can I import a Postman collection?

Yes. Upload the collection export, or paste the link to your published Postman documentation. Insomnia exports, HAR recordings from your browser and cURL commands work the same way.

Does importing again lose my test history?

No. Endpoints merge by method and path, so results and tests stay linked to the endpoints you already had. You can replace the whole list instead when you want a clean start.

What about GraphQL?

Point Check’d at a live GraphQL endpoint and it reads the schema by introspection, then writes GraphQL tests.

Can I import from the command line?

Yes. checked import takes a file or a URL, shows what it found and asks before saving. In CI, pass --yes.
